Ampulex cuprea Smith, 1856
Body 9 mm long, metallic green. Carina on face complete, arched, and produced at the apex. Head deeply rugose and punctate. Prothorax transversely striated dorsally, roughly punctured laterally. Mesothorax has central carina which terminates before the apex. Wings hyaline. First recurrent vein is obscure. Abdomen shining, with very fine and sparse punctures.
