Biology

Solitary (most Eumeninae) and social (Stenogastrinae, some Eumeninae and some Polistinae), and eusocial  wasps (Euparagiinae, Masarinae, most of Polistinae, and Vespinae). All predators of other insects, specialised to some groups, opportunists or scavengers. With the exclusion of Masarinae, that foraging pollen that is fed to the brood.
